Eric applies his expertise in finance and economics to manage multi-asset portfolios, mitigate risk, deliver advice that promotes informed decision-making, and facilitate investors achieving their short-and long-term investment goals. He leads the GVA Asset Management platform overseeing the management of asset allocation models for GVA advisors and their end clients. Eric has appeared on CNBC, CNN, Money Matters TV, NPR-Marketplace, Seeking Alpha, and CFA Magazine.

Eric has more than 25 years of financial and investment experience. Prior to joining, Eric was the Founder and Director of Gerring Capital Partners, a Registered Investment Advisor serving clients nationwide. Eric also previously served as the Director of Investment Communications for SEI Investments and as an Economist at Moody’s Analytics. Eric is also an active member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the Global Interdependence Center.

Beyond his investment work, Eric is a Visiting Scholar in Business & Economics at Ursinus College. He served as a full-time faculty at Ursinus from 2014 to 2023 teaching courses in finance, investments, economics, and research methods. Eric also launched the Finance Scholars program at Ursinus to prepare students to take the CFA Level I Exam after graduation. Prior to teaching at Ursinus, Eric was a full-time visiting professor at West Chester University in the Department of Economics & Finance from 2005 to 2014. He was a five-time recipient of Outstanding Faculty Honors during his time at WCU.

Eric is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder. He holds an MS Finance from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. Eric also graduated Magna cum Laude from Dickinson College with a BA Economics and a BS Mathematics and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Eric lives with his wife Sherry and two sons Finn and Rowan in Glenmoore, PA. He is also an active marathon and half marathon distance runner.
